The Policy is introduced for the benefit of the students studying in the college. The Insurer is the New India Assurance Company Limited, Macheswar Branch Office-550105. A-158, Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar-751007.

Main Features of the Scheme :

1. All the students of the College as per the Attendance Register are to be covered under this Scheme.
2. Premium amount Rs.2/- per students per annum any mid-term inclusion will claim Rs.3/- per student.
3. A detailed list of students insured should be maintained for future reference/inspection wherever required.
4. The aims and objects of the Association are :
   1. The collected Premium is to be sent by Regd. Post in the address of the Branch Manager. The New India Assurance Company Limited, Mancheswar Branch, At A-158 Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar -751007.
   2. The Premium should be remitted in the shape of Bank Draft/Pay Order drawn at Bhubaneswar favouring the New India Assurance Company Limited Bhubaneswar along with proposal form.
   3. The risk will commence from the date of despatch of the Bank Draft for the students in favour of whom premium has been collected.

Scope of Cover :

The Scheme, will be covered against death, total loss of two limbs, two eyes or one limb and one eye, total loss of one limb or one eye and permanent total or partial disablement.

Benefit Under the Scheme per student :

1. Death (Capital benefit) Rs.10,000/-
2. Loss of two limbs, two eyes, or one limb and one eye Rs.10,000/-
3. Loss of one limb or one eye Rs.5,000/-
4. Permanent total disablement from injuries other than those mentioned above Rs.10,000/-
5. Permanent partial disablement-Percentage of benefit on the capital benefit of Rs.10,000/-
6. Hospitalization Expenses : In addition to the above, the policy will provide for reimbursement of Medical expenses subject to a limit of Rs.500/- for any student for one year incurred by the student for treatment to him in a hospital or nursing home as an patient for any injury sustained in an accident.

Claims will be payable to the parent or guardian of students as recorded in the college register and as certified by the college authorizes.
